Beginner Running Classes in Malaysia

Starting to run is easier with a coach and a group that runs at your pace. LGRA Community Running at Bukit Jalil (Wednesdays) is a social-pace group run that welcomes complete beginners and casual runners — just RM 25 walk-in. Alam Impian in Shah Alam is our beginner-friendly location with supportive community training.

You will learn how to warm up, how hard to run, how to breathe and how to build distance without getting hurt — the foundations that make running enjoyable.

FAQ

Common questions

I have never run before. Is this really for me?›

Yes. Community runs are built for first-timers; coaches use run–walk intervals so everyone finishes comfortably.

What does walk-in mean?›

You can come without a package and pay for the single session. Check the walk-in page for sessions that accept walk-ins this week.

What should I wear and bring?›

Comfortable running shoes, breathable clothing and water. No special gear needed.

What comes after the beginner stage?›

Most runners move into Adult Physical Classes or follow an online training plan toward their first 5 km or 10 km.
