Choosing a Kids Class
Active Kids vs Grassroots Development
Two different Kids programmes — pick the one that fits your child's goals. Beginners start with Active Kids, while children ready for structured athletic training belong in Grassroots Development.
Active Kids
Active Kids Class
Designed for beginners and children who want to become more active through enjoyable fitness and sports activities. No running experience is required.
Children will develop
- Basic movement and sports skills
- Fitness, coordination and balance
- Confidence in an active environment
- A positive interest in exercise
Available:Sunday, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Suitable for:Beginners and children who have never joined running training before.
Grassroots Development
Grassroots Development Kids Class
Designed for children who want structured athletic development with a stronger focus on running-related skills.
Children will develop
- Proper running technique
- Sprinting, speed and agility
- Coordination and athletic foundations
- Endurance and progressive performance skills
Available:All other current LGRA Kids Class sessions
Suitable for:Children interested in developing stronger running and athletic abilities.
Note:All current LGRA Kids Classes follow the Grassroots Development programme, except the Sunday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Active Kids Class, which welcomes complete beginners.
